LNAI - Aims

In recent years we have seen significant developments on the interface of Logic, Language and Information (LLI). Examples include the semantic web, agent systems, and large-scale language understanding. Research has become a rich mixture of foundational and empirical work, with ample attention to real-world applications, while progress is increasingly being quantified using formal evaluation methods.

In the context of these developments, FoLLI, the Association for Logic, Language and Information, is happy to announce the launch of the new FoLLI Publications on Logic, Language, and Information part of the Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence series published by Springer-Verlag (www.springer.com/lncs).

The series is aimed at disseminating cutting-edge research results on the interface of Logic, Language, and Information. Cross-fertilization between these areas has frequently led to significant progress on challenging research problems. Consequently, titles in the series will address, and be accessible to, researchers in multiple disciplines.

We seek titles which address current research topics and applications in LLI. Titles will be expected to shed light on the foundations, empirical studies, and interdisciplinary aspects that define the field.

Further information about the series can be obtained by contacting any of the following:
